Home Learning the Way Pre-K through 5th Grade Faith Formation

Learning the Way

We recognize that we are responsible for helping our members grow in holiness. As disciples of the Lord we are committed to learning the way of life which He taught and opening ourselves to His presence in our day-to-day lives as He calls each of us to deeper holiness. Our clergy commit themselves to preaching in a manner which helps us relate the Gospel to our day-to-day lives and, hopefully, opens us to the Holy Spirit’s urgings within us. Our faith formation staff commits itself to programming oriented toward helping our adults learn the faith and deepen their relationship with the Lord.

Mission Statement: Pre-K 5th

The Church of Saint Luke recognizes that the religious education of children is part of the vocation of parents and acknowledges the need for the faith community to collaborate in this important work. The Sunday Eucharistic gathering is the primary catechetical instrument of the Church. Our Faith Formation ministry offers a variety of programs oriented toward helping families nourish the seeds of faith in their children and form them in the traditions of the Catholic Church.
